ACCREDITED BY AASM

Sleep Diagnostic Centers of New Mexico, LLC  was accredited by American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) on October 8, 2010. Accreditation is for five years and involved a great deal of hard work by the providers and staff at the Sleep Center. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine offers accreditation as a demonstration that a sleep center has met all standards set by the AASM such as employing skilled and qualified staff, creating a clean and comfortable environment, developing a quality assurance plan, and adhering to evidence-based practice parameters. An accredited sleep disorders program is a significant resource to the medical community and to the public. Accreditation by the AASM assures quality patient care through comprehensive clinical evaluation and treatment. The accreditation process was extremely comprehensive and included a site visit to our lab where a trained surveyor reviewed our policies, charts and interviewed staff and consulting physicians.
